10 December - Day of Solidarity with Tibet

Today we’d like to celebrate the Day of Solidarity with Tibetans and tell about Tibetan culture, writing and spiritual traditions which is an integral and invaluable part of the world cultural heritage.

10 December - Day of Solidarity with Tibet

The population of the Tibetan plateau is small and unique; its language is the only ancient example of a combination of ideographic spoken language and syllabic writing. And the flora and fauna of the Land of Snows is amazing.

We invite all who are interested in Tibet or wend the way of spiritual development to share this evening with us, to hear and see the highest part of the Himalayas, talk about the problems of Tibet today and try to understand and feel why Tibet is so important to the whole world.

The 10th of December is a significant date for all people following the way of compassion and nonviolence. This is the International Human Rights Day.

On this day in 1989 His Holiness the Dalai Lama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Dalai Lama's contribution to spreading human values ??such as love, compassion, humanity and religious tolerance is very high.

And despite the Dalai Lama is the Buddhist monk and spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, in his works he conveys his treasured non-sectarian and zealous view of all spiritual traditions speaking of importance of all spiritual ways for the benefit of people all over the world.
