Welcoming ceremony with Khambo Lama

THE CEREMONY OF A MEETING WITH  HEAD OF RUSSIAN BUDDHISTS  XXIV KHAMBO LAMA DAMBA AYUSHEEV   IN ST. PETERSBURG DATSAN.

Vice-President of Tibet House in Moscow  Nadya Berkengeym visited the welcoming ceremony with the Head of Russian Buddhists Khambo Lama in St. Petersburg. In a solemn atmosphere many Buddhists and representatives of other confessions met Khambo Lama. The meeting was attended by the Russians, Buryats, Mongolians, Kalmyks and Don Cossacks wearing in national dresses.

From 10 to 17 May 2013 in St. Petersburg will be held celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of Russian Buddhists Head XII Khambo Lama Itigelov a solemn prayer service, which served as a blessing for the development of the Buddhist community in the capital of the Russian Empire. This historic event took place on February 19 (old style), 1913. Thus, Lama Itigelov and accompanied him Lamas of several monasteries from Buryatia sanctified by his presence under construction St. Petersburg Datsan and held a prayer service. for the health and welfare of the Emperor and all Romanov Royal House.
