March 10: Day of Tibet

The Cultural Center “White Clouds” and “Tibet House” invite you to attend a series of meetings dedicated to Tibetan culture.

On March 10 we are going to hold “Day of Tibet” in memory of the Lhasa uprising of 1959, the tragic event in history of Tibet.

Program of the meeting:
• Films about present situation in Tibet
• Exhibition of old photos showing the life of Tibet
• Lecture on the events in Lhasa on March 10, 1959
• Joint prayer for peace
• Tibetan tea and biscuits
• Souvenirs for participants of the meeting

After watching the films, everyone interested is invited to participate in the Roundtable and ask questions to Dr. Ngawang Rabgyal, Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in the Russian Federation and President of Tibet Culture and Information Center.
